Interim measures hold a fundamental role in the intellectual property's right's defense. The nature of these rights, its peculiar characteristics and special vulnerability, claim urgently an effective provisional protection prior to the final sentence. This paper analyses the interim protection in the intellectual property's field, its requirements, its specific measures and the procedure which needs to be implemented.
