摘要
This paper shows the enormous potential of the concept of multimodality in interactive digital environments when applied to language tests for university admission exams. Some of these concepts have been dealt with recently in various research projects. Research into the automation of on-line university admission exams has been prompted by the need to efficiently manage on-line tests and handle the task of exam marking semi-automatically.At the same time, we have addressed the use of multi-platform and/or multi-browser applications to handle the technical and functional validation of accessibility issues and to enable universal access. The application of multi-modality to methods of navigation during an examination is made possible by mobile devices that allow simultaneous interaction when students input data. This paper aims to demonstrate the technical feasibility of the implementation process for an examination with respect to the technological and formal variables of navigation in the exam. These variables are currently being handled in mobile devices, and the result is a further advancement in the process of Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL.).This research has enabled the creation of a prototype that analyzes and validates the functionality of multimodal applications adapted to university admission exams.
