Power Scaling and Mode-hop Suppression of Continuous Wave Single-longitudinal-mode 1342 nm Lasers

A model suitable to the 1342 nm solid state laser with energy transfer upconversion and excited state absorption taken into account is established. The sufficient condition for robust mode hop free operation and the methods for power scaling are proposed via iteration method. The theory agrees well with the experiment.
