Corrosion resistance of construction elements of intending probes used in drilling geophysics, especially during subterranean gas stores building

In this work the results of investigations on choice of construction material for probe used in drilling geophysics, especially in drill-holes opening out salt deposits are presented. The corrosion resistance of aluminum 1050A, stainless steel X5CrNi18-10 (earlier denote 0H18N9), brass CuZn37 (M36) and tin-phosphate bras B6/6 was examined and it was found that the best material is austenitic stainless steel. The accelerating corrosion tests were conducted in neutral salt mist (NSS) and the indicators characterize corrosion resistance were determined by electrochemical methods.
