摘要
This retrospective, cross-sectional research study used secondary data analysis of 3,484 new graduate nurses to examine the relative influence of one-to-one and group mentoring on transition to practice, professional development, stress management, comfort as a staff nurse, and turnover intention. Individuals receiving one-to-one mentoring rated the experience higher in helping transition to practice, professional development, and stress management. There was no significant relationship between type of mentoring and comfort as a staff nurse or turnover intention; however, nurses with a high degree of discomfort as a staff nurse were significantly more likely to have a high intent to turnover.
