Abstract
High-spin states of Au-194,Au-195, Pt-195 and Ir-193 have been studied using an in-beam gamma-ray spectroscopic technique following the reaction of Li-7 on an Os-192 target at 44 MeV. The emitted gamma rays were observed using an array of 14 Compton-suppressed HPGe detectors. Several bands in these nuclei have been identified and extended up to high-spin states. The alpha and t emission channels leading to Ir-193 and Pt-195, respectively, are strongly enhanced which may be explained by incomplete fusion reaction; the t and alpha fragments from the break-up of weakly bound Li-7 nucleus fusion with Os-192 target.
