Progress and Importance of Clinical Evaluation of Cardiovascular Diseases

DUS is a reliable and non-invasive examination for detecting PAD, but it may not detect iliac lesion. CTA is almost as sensitive for diagnosis of PAD as angiography. DUS and CT are superior to angiography in evaluation of calcified plaque and plaque characteristics. DUS is also very useful for evaluation of results of PTA by images of blood flow and stent (In 102 cases with PAD, detailed analysis is ongoing)
