Biodiesel production is being promoted and developed as a sustainable and eco-friendly fuel as part of current efforts to mitigate climate change and to reduce the dependency on fossil fuels. Therefore, the equipment used is mostly made from stainless steel, aluminum, or high-density polyethylene because these materials have proven to be corrosion- and degradation-resistant in biodiesel production and distribution.
