RESEARCH ON OPTIMIZATION DESIGN OF SEMI-SUBMERSIBLE PLATFORM BASED ON ISIGHT

A study of the multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO) to semi-submersible platform is carried out on basis of Isight software. A simple and effective mathematical model of the platform is established, reasonable constraint conditions and objective functions are selected, and meaningful results are obtained. The research shows that the multidisciplinary design optimization for semi-submersible platform is feasible and effective, and the results have practical value in engineering.
