摘要

Heterobimetallic thiolate [Cu(PPh3)](4)(ZnCl)(2)(SEt)(6) has been synthesised and characterised by X-ray crystallography as a THF solvate. It contains the first structurally characterised example of a Cu-I-S(R)-Zn-II linkage and only the second species type to embody the Cu-I-S-Zn-II triad.
