Researcher training: A new frontier

Few training materials exist to specifically teach biomedical research staff the animal care and use procedures that are relevant to their work. A project is currently in progress to produce computer-based and videotape training materials that address the training needs of this segment of the laboratory animal community. Plans are also underway to construct a self-assessment web server to administer content examinations covering these modules.
