摘要
Enhanced recovery after primary total knee arthroplasty (TKA) depends on the type of anesthesia and post-operative pain control strategies that facilitate early mobilization and shorten the length of hospital stay of the patients. The use of new regional block ultrasound (US) guided fascial plane blocks as part of the multimodal analgesia technique is an essential part of enhanced recovery after TKA. The aim of this brief review is to describe the new US guided fascial plane blocks used in TKA in our setting, which is an integral part of TKA enhanced recovery program.
