Abstract
SCANSAR and TOPS SAR are two typical wide swath modes, which increase the swath by periodically switching the incidence angle of antenna among different subswath from near to far range. Sparse signal processing technique can be applied to SAR imaging by solving l(q) (0 < q <= 1) regularization problem to achieve high-resolution image that can improve the image performance effectively, e.g., suppress sidelobe, clutter and azimuth ambiguity. In this paper, we proposed an azimuth-range decouple-based l(q) q regularization method for SCANSAR and TOPS SAR imaging. Compared to the MF-based algorithm, the proposed method can suppress clutter, reduce sidelobe efficiently. In addition, it has less computational complexity than conventional l(q) regularization technique. Experimental results based on TerraSAR-X data demonstrate the validity of the proposed method.
