Abstract
The isotopically selective dissociation of CF2Cl2 and CF2HCl molecules in the presence of HI under the action of the emission of a pulsed CO2 laser has been studied experimentally. The intermediate compound CF2Cl2 has been isolated. It has been shown in the case of the dissociation of CF2Cl2 molecules in the presence of HI that the content of C-13 in the principal final product CF2H2 achieved as a result of a three-step isotope-enrichment process is 97%.
