Abstract
Background: The aim of this study was the evaluation of usefulness of cytoplasmatic antigens typing in difficult cases of childhood leukaemia. Materials and methods: 12 cases of leukaemia were analysed. Sur face and cytoplasmatic antigens staining with corresponding antibodies were used. IntraPrep kit was used for permabilization of cell membrane. Results: In all cases presence or absence of cytoplasmatic antigens allowed to recognise type of leukaemia, although surface antigens pattern suggested different diagnosis. Conclusions: Cytoplasmatic antigens staining is very helpful in difficulty with diagnosing childhood leukaemia.
