Automation of Processes in the Space of Intervention

The discussion about the application of automation engineering in an interventional room rose during the past years. Today, the advantages of automation engineering regarding the organization of efficient processes in an interventional room, the control of complex processes or the quality management are theoretically recorded. However, there do not exist any technical solutions for the interventional room which show the benefit of automation engineering regarding diagnosis and therapy. That is the reason why today's discussions contain criticism like costs and risks of development. This article gives attention to the status of automation solutions for the use in the interventional room."
