Abstract
A simple, convenient and four-component method for synthesis of 1,2,3,4-tetrasubstituted pyrroles has been developed by using of magnesium containing nano silica catalyst. This strategy demonstrates the coupling reactions of aromatic aldehydes, 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds, aniline derivatives and nitromethane, over the one pot procedure. The polysubstituted 4-(imidazole-1-yl) aniline derivatives were also used as amine precursor at above reaction and the obtained products were evaluated on their emission properties. The modified natural source white sandstone which was appeared as an efficient, recyclable and green catalyst at the desired reaction, was fully characterized by different methods.
