Abstract
Trauma exposure is significantly correlated with increased risk for developing PTSD and other negative mental health outcomes. Evidence-based trauma-focused psychotherapy is the first-line treatment for childhood PTSD. This Symposium provides an unusual opportunity for 4 trauma-focused evidence-based treatment developers to describe new developments, advances, and data for trauma-impacted children across development, with a specific focus on applicability for child and adolescent psychiatrists.
