Climate change has been identified as the greatest threat to human health in our lifetimes, with consequences for every child born today and mounting evidence about the specific impacts on mental health. We will review the existing literature on mental health and climate change, including the mechanisms and prevalence of harmful effects, and best practices to support resilience and provide treatment.
