MEDICAL TRAUMATIC STRESS: INNOVATIONS, INVESTIGATIONS, AND INTERVENTIONS IN THE SETTING OF CHRONIC ILLNESS

Factors that support the emotional well-being of children with medical illness include identifying and mitigating pediatric medical traumatic stress (PMTS). Topics will address these factors and will include epidemiological data, clinical interventions that enhance resilience and emotion regulation in the setting of PMTS, and research on novel interventions that target families.
