2.6 beyond screening: specific suicide prevention interventions

Screening for suicide is an important first step in tackling the rising rate of youth suicide. However, effectively managing youth identified at risk for suicide remains a challenge. There are still limited data to guide clinicians in how to respond to youth at risk, especially given the scarcity of resources in many communities. This presentation will review the current evidence-based treatments for suicidality across multiple settings.
