摘要
Suitable planting dates ensure a satisfactory vegetative growth, higher grain quality and better yields. The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of planting season in rice genotypes group. Eighteen rice genotypes were studied in two planting dates (October 20 and November 12), using a Design Randomized Complete Block with four replications. Standard evaluation system of the International Rice Research Institute was used to evaluate the yield and its components as well as other agronomic characteristics. Statistically significant differences between cultivars for all variables considered were found, but between seasons found only in yield and panicles per square meter. There was no interaction between factors (cultivar x season). The average yield of the season 2 (12 November) was significantly higher than in the season 1 (20 October), Likewise it was the best season for all cases where there was significant statistical difference.
