Abstract
1453 Objectives: This study aimed to characterize the FDG uptake of primary renal cell carcinoma(RCC) lesions and to evaluate the predicting value of 18F-FDG PET/CT for nuclear grade and pathological tumor stage in RCC patients.Method: The patients underwent 18F-FDG PET/CT in our hospital from July 2010 to August 2016 were retrospectively identified. All patients hadn’t any treatment including nephrectomy and targeted therapy before PET/CT examination. The PET/CT results including SUVmax and diameter of renal lesions and pathological parameters including nuclear grade and tumor staging were collected. The glucose metabolic characteristics of different pathological type were analyzed. The relationships of the SUVmax of renal clear cell carcinoma (ccRCC) with nuclear grade, pathological tumor stage and diameter were investigated. The predicting value of 18F-FDG PET/CT to distinguish high-grade and high-stage RCC using SUVmax was analyzed. Results: A total of 126 patients were analyzed in this study, including 74 RCC, 19 renal pelvic carcinoma, 12 renal lymphoma, 8 inflammatory lesions, 5 mesenchymal tumors, 5 renal metastases. The SUVmax among inflammatory lesions, pelvic carcinoma,RCC and lymphoma was significantly different using one-way ANOVA(P
