Preparation of fine BaSnO3 powders by oxalate coprecipitation method

The fine BaSnO3 powders were prepared by the oxalate coprecipitation method. The white oxalate precipitates were prepared by coprecipitation of Ba2+ and Sn4+ using the oxalic acid as the precipitant. The oxalate precipitates were then converted to the fine BaSnO3 powders by the calcination at 1050 degreesC. The fine BaSnO3 powders were cubic phase with the lattice parameter of 0.4119 nm. The morphology of the fine BaSnO3 powders showed the grains with the size about 0.2 mu m.
