STUDY ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF A PHOTOVOLTAIC PARK IN ALBA COUNTY

This paper addresses a topical theme, namely the use of renewable energies in the Alba county. Renewable energy has become a necessity both because the obligations imposed by the EU treaties and because society development. Energy installations from the Alba county are overhead lines or underground operating voltage of 110, 20, 6 and 0.4 kV, and transformer stations 110 kV/MV substations MV/0.4 kV and electricity metering groups. Alba Iulia supports the incumbency of the 20%-target proposed for renewable energy in the European Union, as well as the strengthening the internal energy market in order to produce clean energy and to reduce the energy sector effects upon the climate change. In this sense, a project that aims to install photovoltaic panels at several public buildings was implemented in the county. One of these buildings is the Dorin Pavel Technical College. Its structure has three buildings planned to be equipped with photovoltaic panels. This paper presents the calculation and partly the work development, mentioning the benefits of such a system.
