MONITORING AND EVALUATION OF PATIENTS SATISFACTION IN MEDICAL UNITS THAT USE NATURAL FACTORS FOR TREATMENT

The research consists in determining patients perception on medical services of medical establishments using natural factors for treatment in order to identify the issues to be improved. Study objective is to analyse these patients feedback. The target group consists of 593 respondents residing in urban (86%) and rural areas who received treatment in medical units, from Dobrogea region that use natural factors. The prospective cross-sectional survey was conducted by completing a specific questionnaire by the subjects included in the two-month study in 2015. The data obtained was processed using the Excel Program, IBM SPSS Statistics 20. There were applied the following procedures: Non-parametric statistical tests, Descriptive statistics (to characterise discrete and continuous variables defined at the database level), Graphics. The results considered statistically significant were those for which p < alpha = 0.05. In order to optimise patient medical rehabilitation process, the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation establishments need to dispose of a minimum 3.5 m(2) per bed green space. Patients are complaining about the movement facilities and highlight the need for recreational facilities. There is a deficient knowledge of the benefits of therapies using natural factors by medical doctors of other specialties to the detriment of patients life quality.
