Abstract
Little is known about the required and available knowledge of teacher educators. There is a common agreement, that it must not be restricted to the knowledge of teachers. However, what is further relevant? This project investigates, which knowledge domains experienced and unexperienced teacher educators use for planning courses on the exemplary subject of "learning difficulties in mathematics" before and after a qualification course. The evaluation focuses on the consolidation of mentioned knowledge domains concerning the classroom level, the increase of knowledge domains with respect to the qualification level, and the connection of these knowledge domains.
