Abstract
The effect of dietary bentonite on uptake and ditribution of radioiron given intragastrically was examined in the carcass and selected organs of rats. Feeding a bentonite fortified diet resulted in an increase in iron absorption in the carcass and organs (except for spleen) within a 28-day period postdosing.
