N-Isopropylacrylamide-modified polyethylenimine-mediated miR-29a delivery to inhibit the proliferation and migration of lung cancer cells

•The carrier PEN was prepared by the modification of N-Isopropylacrylamide on PEI.•The derivative PEN could efficiently achieve the transfection of miR-29a.•The PEN/miR-29a transfection could realize the inhibition of cell proliferation.•The PEN/miR-29a transfection could suppress the cell migration and invasion.
