Contribution to the knowledge of hypogeous fungi in the Lyonnais area

The hypogeous fungi represent a wide group of subterranean species, sometimes poorly known due to the difficulty to collect them. A survey made in March 2017 allowed to complete the catalogue of known species in the Lyonnais area (France). Some historical data are also provided. The following species have been recorded for the first time in our department: Elaphomyces maculatus, E. muricatus, Balsamia vulgaris, Tuber puberulum, Hymenogaster calosporus, H. niveus and Leucogaster nudus.
