A Low Profile Higher Band IOT Antenna for Security Applications

A low profile nature higher band Internet of Things (IOT) antenna for security application is reported in this paper. It was design and constructed by different rectangular slot and low cost Duroid 5880 dielectric substrate material is constructed in this work. The overall length and width dimension is 22 x 8 mm size with thickness of 1.2mm and loss tangent value is 2.2. To attain the multiband frequencies the multi length rectangular slot is introduced in this research work. The proposed antenna operated at the frequencies of 7.1, 12.8 and 20.3 GHz and exhibit voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) is less than 2. It has unidirectional radiation pattern and required radiation efficiency for that application also cover C/Ku/K band frequency and this IOT antenna is very much required for security applications also future satellite applications.
