摘要

•HSF2 is negatively correlated with the activation of NLRP3 inflammasome in mice.•The activation of NLRP3 inflammasome and secretion of IL-1β can be inhibited by high levels of HSF2 in Caco-2 cells.•HSF2 may play a protective role in UC by inhibiting NLRP3 inflammasome.
