Intravenous Leiomyomatosis: A Rare Cause of Intracardiac Mass
Seminars in Roentgenology(2020)
Abstract
Abstract We present the case of a 52-year-old female with a right atrial mass contiguous with a mass in the IVC. The patient was presumptively placed on anticoagulation for thrombus; however, the mass persisted prompting further imaging evaluation. She was ultimately diagnosed with intravenous leiomyomatosis (IVL) and underwent surgical resection.
