Abstract
•Radiative entropy generation due to H2O, CO2, soot and nongray wall is investigated.•Radiation processes of wall have main contribution on radiative entropy generation.•H2O and soot have more effect on radiative entropy generation than CO2.•Radiative entropy generation varies with total hemispherical absorptance of wall.
