Abstract
•Development of a flow injection-based amperometric photosensor for the quantification of 4-aminophenol.•Screen-printed electrodes modified with commercial TiO2 allow sensitive detection of phenolic compounds under UV light.•Reactive oxygen species generated on TiO2 under UV illumination are responsible for the detection.•A cost-effective and highly stable photosensor is proposed for the detection of 4-aminophenol.
