摘要
•DNS of mixed convection is performed in a horizontal channel case.•The influence of buoyancy in a liquid metal flow has been studied with varying Richardson number.•Turbulence is strongly enhanced with the increasing buoyancy compared to forced convection.•Extensive results of flow and temperature statistics are analyzed and presented.
