Abstract
We report the first record of the invasive mealybug Phenacoccus solenopsis Tinsley (Hemiptera: Coccomorpha: Pseudococcidae) in Algeria. It was found on Citrus lemon (L) Osbeck (Rutaceae) in the Rouiba region [36 degrees 43'N 3 degrees 16'E].
