Abstract
In the area of system and circuit theory, it is required to reduce the system complexity for the fractional-order system while preserving their input–output behavior as much as possible. It is encouraged to create high-speed analog circuits as compared to classical integer-order circuits. It is also possible to explain the memory effect and electrical conductivity in complex composite materials by fractional-order derivates. The efficient realization or implementation of equivalent circuits of the fractional-order systems is the approximation in a finite-dimensional integer-order system. In this paper, different approximations with an application as fractional-order filter are discussed for the fractional-order system.
