Acute biliary pancreatitis (ABP) is a common disorder associated with high morbidity and mortality. Several studies has evaluated the role of ERCP in decreasing the risk of morbidity and mortality in acute biliary pancreatitis. We performed an updated meta-analysis of all randomized controlled studies (RCTs) to evaluate the role of early ERCP in ABP.
