Su1044 COLON CLEANSING EFFICACY AND SAFETY OF 1L PEG SOLUTION NER1006 IN A REAL-LIFE SETTING: A SINGLE CENTER EXPERIENCE IN MADRID, SPAIN
Gastrointestinal Endoscopy(2020)
Abstract
The effectiveness and tolerability of bowel cleansing is critical for a quality colonoscopy. Adequate bowel preparation is essential for colonoscopies to be diagnostically accurate, safe and cost-effective. Polyethylene glycol (PEG) based regimens are the first choice for both efficacy and safety. A very low volume 1L PEG solution, NER1006, has been recently introduced after the publication of three phase 3 randomized controlled trials1-3, but data in a real life setting are lacking.
