Abstract
A hydraulic balloon dilation catheter, EsoFLIP (Crospon, Galway, Ireland), has recently been introduced as a new therapeutic option for patients undergoing dilation for achalasia. Current literature on EsoFLIP has been limited to small case series and abstracts, with no significant adverse events reported. In this retrospective, single center analysis, we describe our experience using the novel hydraulic dilation catheter.
