Clinical analysis of 11 194 hospitalized patients of nosocomial infection in department of gastroenterology

Objective\r\nTo analyze the incidence of nosocomial infection in hospitalized patients in department of gastroenterology, and to explore the methods of prevention and control of nosocomial infection.\r\n\r\n\r\nMethods\r\nThe clinical data of 11 194 hospitalized patients in department of digestive from 2014 to 2016 were retrospectively analyzed.\r\n\r\n\r\nResults\r\nNosocomial infection occurred in 163 cases of 11 194 patients. The nosocomial infection rate was 1.46%. The nosocomial infection rates in 2014, 2015 and 2016 were 1.87%, 1.55% and 1.07% respectively. Nosocomial infection was most common in patients with gastrointestinal bleeding, liver cirrhosis and digestive tract cancer.\r\n\r\n\r\nConclusions\r\nNosocomial infection is common in of department, the medical staff should strengthen the understanding of the risk factors of nosocomial infection, pay attention to hand hygiene, rational use of antibiotics, standardize aseptic operation, shorten the length of hospital stay, effectively reduce the incidence of hospital infection.\r\n\r\n\r\nKey words: \r\nNosocomial infection; Monitoring; Prevention
