秦岭拥有丰富的植物资源.本教学团队围绕"丰富教学内容,提高教学质量,具有陕西特色的中药学教学改革"这一目标,提出基于秦岭植物基因库,突出地域特色、重视对民间医学的保护与继承、规范民间用药品种及名称、与现代科学技术相结合、引入新教学手段与方法等一系列教学改革思路,以丰富教学内容,提高教学质量,推动陕西中医药的发展.
