Influence of a Phosphate–Nitrate Composition on the Corrosion of Mechanically Activated Aluminum Alloy

We study the protective properties of a phosphate–nitrate composition on aluminum alloy in a medium of synthetic acid rain. The proposed composition has high anticorrosion efficiency and provides the degree of protection of the metal equal to 96% in the absence of mechanical loads. In the course of mechanical activation, a protective film with improved protective properties is formed on the surface of aluminum alloy in the inhibited corrosive solution. The analyzed composition is quite promising for the protection of structures made of aluminum alloys against tribocorrosion fracture.
