Abstract
Objective To investigate the integron I and antiseptics resistance genes in Acinetobacter baumannii strains. Methods Susceptibilities to imipenem, piperacillin-tazobactam, ceftazidime, tetracycline, cefoperazone-sulbactam, trimetboprom-sulfamethoxazole, amikacin were tested. Subsequently, Int 1, qacA/B, qacEAl-sull, qacG, star, ArmA, Isabal, and tnp513 were detected by PCR. Results Susceptibilities to seven broad spectrum antibiotics were 12.5 %, 4.2 %, 4.2%, 0.0%, 12.5% ,8.3% ,and 8.3%. Isolates carried qacE△l-sull, ArmA, Isabal, and Int 1 genes while other four genes were not detected. Notably, two isolates carried dfrA17 gene in Int 1. Conclusions Acinetobacter baumannii strains have resistances to broad-spectrum antibiotics seriously and Int-1 and antiseptics resistance genes are carried. Accordingly, broad-spectrum antibiotics should be standardized utilized and effective disinfection measures should be carried out to prevent the dissemination of multidrug resistant strains in the hospital.
