Abstract
•SiNWs/G@C materials were prepared by molten salt electrolysis of Si/G.•SiNWs were in-situ grown on graphite surface with SiC connections.•SiNWs/G@C can retain 90.04% capacity after 100 cycles (0.5C) in coin-cell tests.
