Abstract
•A novel C@Ti4O7/g-C3N4 Z-scheme photocatalyst is presented.•The C@Ti4O7/g-C3N4 is a nanosphere with a core-shell structure.•The C@Ti4O7/g-C3N4 responded to visible light.•The C@Ti4O7/g-C3N4 showed good photodegradation performance for RhB, MB, and MO.•The all-solid-state Z-scheme mechanism of C@Ti4O7/g-C3N4 is proposed.
