Abstract
•To define a score range of the DDT-Pro for subsyndromal delirium (SSD) diagnosis•We used three reference standards, cluster analysis, and clinical validators•SSD was found to have DDT-Pro score of 6-7 vs 8-9 in no delirium and <6 in delirium•All three DDT-Pro items representing delirium core domains are relevant in SSD•Vulnerabilities and prognosis clinical validators are at intermediate levels in SSD
