A comparison of patient treatment pathways among multidrug-resistant and drug-sensitive TB cases in Delhi, India: A cross-sectional study

•We identified treatment pathways among MDR-TB and DS-TB patients.•The mean (SD) patient delay for initial treatment-seeking was 20.9 (15.9) days in patients with MDR-TB.•The median time from visit to first HCF until confirmation of MDR-TB diagnosis was 78.5 days.•Patients with DS-TB initially treated at private facility reported delayed initiation of DOTS.
