MESSAGE RELIABILITY EVALUATION METHOD FOR AGGREGATING TWO TRUST EVALUATIONS IN INTERNET OF VEHICLES

A message reliability evaluation method for aggregating two trust evaluations in the Internet of Vehicles, wherein a trust authority is responsible for maintaining trust information of vehicles, and the vehicles periodically request their latest trust certificates from the trust authority; a message publisher attaches a latest trust certificate when sending a message to prove their trustworthiness; a message receiver extracts the trust certificate after receiving each message, comprehensively considers messages of multiple message publishers to determine their reliability, and generates a trust feedback for each message publisher according to the message quality, for sending to the trust authority; the trust authority then updates a local storage. The method efficiently aggregates two trust evaluations, and a message receiver need not request the trust authority in real time. Thus, the evaluation results are more accurate, and the evaluation speed is more rapid. The method is compatible with situations wherein a vehicle cannot connect to the trust authority within a short time, so as to better satisfy high dynamic characteristics of the Internet of Vehicles.
